Steps Required to Undergo CDR Assessment Pathway

Each career episode should state what the applicant did and explain how they did that. Typically, each one must illustrate how they applied their knowledge and competence in the nominated occupation. All career episode narratives contain four sections: introduction, background, personal engineering activity, and summary. 

A Summary Statement: Concise statement highlighting key competency elements. This is a summary of all three career episodes. Candidates must download and complete the appropriate summary statement templates for their chosen occupational category. In addition, numbering career episodes and paragraphs is essential as it helps refer to them in the summary statement. 

A CPD Statement: Continuing professional development (CPD) is a listing of statements demonstrating the reasonable steps taken by applicants to maintain the currency of their knowledge and competency within their practice area after completing an undergraduate qualification. A CPD should be in a table format, including the title, date, duration, location, and organiser of the training and events. A CPD statement does not exceed one A4 page.
